What BAC is — and what it is not

BAC converts EEG signals into sound in real time. It is a non-invasive feedback method, but it is not a diagnostic test or a universally proven treatment for every condition.

What happens during a session

Scalp electrodes record electrical activity. A computer converts the signal into sound, which the participant hears through headphones.

What BAC does not replace

It does not replace neurological examination, medical diagnosis, prescribed treatment, psychotherapy, speech-language therapy or specialist education. Any possible role should be considered within an individual plan.

How to interpret evidence

Research on forms of EEG feedback exists, but protocols, participant groups and outcomes vary. A small study or manufacturer information cannot guarantee an individual result.

This material is for general information and does not replace individual assessment, medical advice or emergency care.
